Finding out you’re pregnant while you’re still in high school can feel scary. You might not know who to turn to, how your parents will react, or whether you can continue your education. It’s normal to have many questions about what happens next.
It is possible to continue high school while being pregnant, and support is available. At Life Options Clinic, we are here to help you. We offer free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, and STI testing at our clinic.
Schedule an appointment at the clinic today and get the support you deserve.
School and Support Are Still Possible
Even if you are pregnant, you can continue your education and have rights under Title IX if you attend a school that receives federal funding.
This means you cannot be discriminated against because you are pregnant and may be entitled to accommodations such as excused pregnancy-related absences or additional time to complete assignments. You will also be allowed to attend all your classes and cannot be forced into another school program just because you are pregnant.
At Life Options Clinic, we also provide referrals to medical care resources, financial assistance, and more.
Confirm Your Pregnancy
If you think you may be pregnant, the next step is to get an ultrasound. Even if you have already taken a pregnancy test, it does not provide details about how your pregnancy is developing.
A limited ultrasound can show where the pregnancy is located, how far along you are, and whether the pregnancy is developing. These details can protect your health and give you a clearer understanding of your pregnancy.
Your Visit Is Confidential
You may be worried about who will find out about your pregnancy, and we understand this. Your visits here are always confidential.
Your privacy matters, and we want you to feel safe asking questions, seeking support, and getting the clear information you deserve.
You Have Options
Learning about your options can help you feel more confident in this season as well. Your three options include parenting, adoption, and abortion. Each option needs careful consideration, and support is available if you are worried about preparing for a baby, finances, and resources.
Our Life University classes provide education on topics such as prenatal care, child safety, and parenting. By attending these classes, you may also have access to our baby boutique, which offers baby and maternity clothes, diapers, formula, baby food, and more at no cost.
We Can Support You
You do not have to go through this alone. Life Options Clinic is here to support you, whether you need access to our free pregnancy services or someone who will listen, answer your questions, and support you without judgment.
We will never judge or pressure you into making a decision. We want you to have the information you need to feel empowered moving forward.
